"Unfortunately the hotel is very dirty and in dire need of a makeover. The dust is thick, carpets are stained and the air conditioning is extremely noisy and barely cooled the room. We were meant to stay two nights and decided to call it quits after just one."

Chidori Inn Fukuromachi Hiroshima
3.0 star property
7.8 out of 10, Good, (37)
"Property was clean and comfortable, although a little cramped for 4 people. Not enough crockery provided for 4 people. No staff to speak to, just a handbook of instructions. A little hard to find, but no real issue. Laundry provision was great as it was a washer/drier and it’s challenging to get clothes to dry quickly otherwise. WiFi wasn’t instantly obvious but again once figured out worked fine. Quite a trek from the JR station, so might be an issue for those with lots of luggage, but very...

Mitsui Garden Hotel Hiroshima
Hiroshima Washington Hotel
3.5 star property
9.0 out of 10, Wonderful, (1002)
"Incredibly convenient with so much to do around the area. We took a taxi to the hotel, but after that we were able to walk to every destination without worrying about taking any metro or bus as it is in the heart of a shopping and restaurant district. Hotel was very quiet and operated like most hotels in Japan, however more spacious in our opinion (2 guests). The bathroom was also nice, it had a shower and bath that was separated by a door for the toilet. Highly recommend. Would absolutely stay...

Capsule Hotel CUBE
Chisun Hotel Hiroshima
3.0 star property
8.4 out of 10, Very Good, (1001)
"Staff were very kind and found me a non-smoking room after I had mistakenly booked a smoking one! Yes, smoking was still allowed on certain floors of the hotel so there was a bit of a smell throughout. The hotel was conveniently located near the tram that goes to the train station and to the Peace Park in Hiroshima. The included breakfast had many options to choose from. I walked to the hotel from the train station when I first arrived ~22 mins. "
