"Great place to head for a long weekend getaway from the city. The dunes are gorgeous, the beach accessible, great hiking on the Discovery Trail or on the trails in Cape Disappoinment. The vibe was friendly and relaxed. There's horseback riding on the beach offered about 100 yards away, a delicious distillery to sit outside and do tastings (and you can buy their offerings onsite), a ping-pong table (that we loved!), and a solid restaurant with live music some nights. Our only issue: we were excited to use the barrel saunas each day but the saunas don't hold their heat (even when we put lots of water on the rocks again and again). The only way to get any kind of sweat going was to stand up (heat rises) which was annoying to do so we didn't go again. Aside from that, all was good. "
