Also the hotel is in an excellent spot - close to the train station, and it’s only a short walk to Kenrokuen Gardens and about 25 minute walk to Higashi chaya historic tea area and not far at all to the Samurai houses - in an upmarket shopping street too, so a perfect location."

"I liked the simplicity of the facilities and convenience of the location. Nightwear was comfortable and the temperature of the room was very warm. Breakfast was good. I wish there had been a coffee maker in the room and some smaller washcloths. Thank you for hosting me! "

"For the price this was more than worth it. Excellent location 2 mins walk to Omicho market and many buses to the train station, the various chaya districts and Castle. Breakfast buffet was varied and plentiful. As typical with most Japanese bathrooms, there is a powerful shower and YES it has the latest TOTO !! (you will know what I mean if you’ve been to japan LOL)"
