"Property is beautiful. Waterfront is so nice. Definitely not super fancy but does the job. French press coffee only. Did not like that. One had a crack in it. Our only real complaint was the number of flies we had to kill every afternoon in the kitchen. If the owner fixed the kitchen door this won’t be a problem. Beautiful place. Would stay again. Would have liked a microwave and kcup coffee pot."

"The pictures don't do justice. The visit to the Hobbit house was amazing. The drivie way to get in is a little oasis is tricky but manageable. Just don't do it with a corvette.lol. Commutation with the host was great and never felt like they didn't want to help or provide a great stay!"

"This was my second stay at this beautiful Shelter Cove home in the same year, and it was just as enjoyable as the first. The house itself is spacious and exquisitely decorated, providing ample room to relax and unwind. The highlight was undoubtedly the hot tub, and watching whales at sunset directly from the hot tub! It is homey and allows for all of us to find our own space. It has every thing you need to prepare food of your choice. You enjoy cooking and having family close. "Our family had a great stay. It was a little hard to find, luckily I had looked at the photos online and knew what the house looked like. We are not from the area so def not used to all the hills/mountains. I think it should be made more clear of just how steep the driveway is to the house, that was shocking for us. Communication with property owner was excellent. She was so nice & responded so quickly to all messages. There was Plenty of space for all of us, big open living/dining/kitchen...

"We really enjoyed our stay at this mountain hill home. So clean and comfortable. It was equipped with the necessary high speed wi-fy as well as 2 smart tvs. We did have a couple of issues that were quickly resolved by the owner and property manager as communication with them was excellent. The mountain and valley views from the front porch was magnificent. This was our second stay at this home and will definitely request it again in the future trips!"

"You can't beat the environment. It's in the middle of the redwoods. Each cabin-like room has big trees close by. The room is cute, like an antique; if this is your type of thing you probably would like it. However, it's quite old. The bathroom tube makes screeching noise (thankfully just for a minute or two) when first using faucet; the heater has a loud noise (dropping of water?) in the middle of night which woke us up. So we decided to turn the heater off -- it wasn't very cold that night,...
