"The pool was very big, however it was incredibly cold. Food was very good. A good selection of choice for children and adults. Our room was not the best. The sofa bed was on its last legs. It completely v-ed in the middle. Ive never seen a sofa bed like it. There was also a fire extinguisher box positioned outside our room which was directly below a air con vent. "Beautiful high quality new apartment. Loved the roof terrace with the bath and balcony with sea views for the spectacular sunsets. Swimming pool was great but also very close to sandy beaches. Everywhere was very clean and well maintained. Apartment serviced daily and new bedding alternate days. Loved the resort of El Cotillo with old port with its bars and restaurants. Only downside was the building work in the resort."

"Really great week at MAAR Suites. The apartment was clean, spacious and had pretty much everything we needed. Location is excellent with a 30 second walk to the beach front, 5 minute walk to restaurants and bars and several stores around the corner. Wouldn't hesitate to come back."

Great 'winter sun' break destination.

"Staff were welcoming, efficient. Cleaners were helpful and always friendly. Breakfast choices were extensive. Gluten Free items were available. Convenient for town restaurants and the beach. There was a sense of being looked after in all aspects of the stay. El Cotillo as a town felt safe."

Great Location in El Cotillo

"This is a large one bedroomed apartment looking out onto the first lagoon beach in El Cotillo. This is a sunny and prime location, absolute beachfront, but with easy walking distance to the centre and harbour with numerous restaurants, bars, cafes etc., unfortunately there is now a lot of building work going on in this once small and pretty fishing village, but hey, they say that is progress. Whether for the best remains to be seen! However, ongoing works did not unduly disturb us in this beach location with fantastic views up the coastal lagoons and of course, the setting sun. A great location which we can thoroughly recommend to others. Thanks to the owners and the local contact for a truly wonderful holiday."

"Fantastic villa in superb condition with a large pool in a quiet residential area. Dealings with the owner were excellent, she really couldn't do enough to help. El Cotillo is a 15-20 min walk but there is an hourly bus service. Highly recommended!"

"El Cotillo Sonando"/Stylish/Well equipped/On beach for surf and swim.

Comfortable well equipped apartment in a quiet seaside town.

"The apartment is in a very new complex on the sea front. It is well equipped for a short or long stay. I found the bed very comfortable and slept well. The outside areas of a small terrace with table and the much larger roof terrace with seating and sun loungers are excellent. The roof terrace has views of the pool ansd a partial sea view. It of course has all day sunshine. Entertainment is by two televisons with a vast range of channels. The pool in the complex is very good and well maintained. A short walk to several beaches. My favourite was the lagoons where the sea is calm and wonderful for swimming. El Cotillo has several good supermarkets and a vast range of dining options. Having stayed in many apartments and villas in various Canary Islands over the last 20+ years I can say this has been one of the very best and may visit again."
