"I really enjoyed my stay at the Ashton Court. Top marks for cleanliness, friendliness and warm welcome given by the staff, and great breakfasts. The new owners are putting a lot of time and effort into updating/ decorating the hotel, and doing a great job. Superb sea views and just a short walk to the seafront. Bar open in evenings, the rear garden looked ideal for summer lounging and there is a garden seating area at the front, across the road. Pet and children friendly, plus free so-if. Breakfast was included in the price. I had a solo room. It was small but perfectly equipped with television, free wi-fi, hair drier and a very good bathroom (bath and shower). I had a very comfortable stay and shall definitely return on my next visit- better than my usual ‘posh’ hotel up the road."
