"This is a beautiful property with lake Toya on one side and Yoteii mountain on the other. The rooms are the largest we have seen in Japan with a beautiful sitting area and large bathroom with a huge tub both overlooking Lake Toya! This made for excellent firework viewing from the room for the local festival. They also had a nice common area in the hotel with some tables, coffee, tea and hot water to use. The location was convenient to drive to Toyaka Onsen town for food, but also to Rusutsu for skiing. "

Bed/Pillow/Duvet: they are all soft, comfortable Onsen (Roof top): the most beautiful view you can get for the outdoor with 2 round tub. There is also a small cold bath and a sauna. Spacious onsen and plenty of showers ensure its not crowded. Indoor onsen temperature is hotter than outdoor. Onsen (Basement): An outdoor and an indoor with sauna. Outdoor onsen temperature is hotter than indoor. A beautiful garden right in front of the outdoor. Dining hall: Overseeing the lake and snow in winter. Food: I had the breakfast and its has great mix of traditional Japanese and western delights. Food was great as a whole. Lobby: there is a large resting area with books for you to relax and read.
