"The host was very helpful, the bed was comfortable, and it had easy access to public transportation. The mini fridge was stocked with sandwiches, snacks and drinks which was great. The other reviews were right about the stairs, they were steep but it wasn't an issue for us. I would stay again."

"Me and the wife had the most amazing time over in Amsterdam. We was greeted by host paul who was amazing and showed us around our room and was very helpful. Really comfortable bed, very clean and cozy room. Apon check out we meet host Mark who let us leave our luggage for few hours and gave us a gift. Highly recommend, would definitely stay again. Big thanks Mark and paul all the best "

"This property was centrally located so that everything in Amsterdam was a short walk away. The host David was so welcoming! The stairs getting to the rooms are no joke, but I knew that going in. Some reviewers have complained about them but Davids's property description is straightforward and indicates the property is not handicap accessible so do your homework and don't underestimate it. Our stay was wonderful, and we would absolutely book here again."

"Conveniently located within walking distance of the historic city centre. Second floor apartment within a traditional narrow canal-front townhouse. It is accessed up communal steep staircase from a main front door and is annexed to the main hotel next door. The apartment overlooks a very picturesque canal, which is the best feature together with the sizeable open plan living / dining / kitchen area. It has a comfortable double bedroom and a wet room. The kitchen area could use some minor repairs...

"It was really good and in a really good ace right next to the museu.s and concert hall. The hostess is very nice. Her little pomeranian, Pommie is adorable and safe (he does bark loudly, but only when excited). There are very typical Dutch stairs to consider if you have mobility issues. The only downside was the heat, but that's not Sézane's fault."

"ElIne, the owner was incredibly good, giving us travel guidance before we arrived and providing us with lots of local advice about the best places to visit and eat. Breakfast was at a local cafe about 150 yards away and was good, bagels with omelette or BLT with coffee and juice ticked the boxes for me or many other bagel options for those with other tastes. The location of the property was fantastic by the canals with major attractions within 20 minutes walk or 10 minutes tram ride away. The...

"Beautiful room with excellent facilities. Very handy for the centre of Amsterdam and easy to get to from the airport. Trams every 4 minutes to the centre. Gerry Petra’s husband was great and told us a lot about the area and could not have been more helpful. The house is perfect to stay in in a quiet street right next to Vondelpark. We shall definitely come back and look forward to doing so very soon. An altogether wonderful experience. "

All the staff went above and beyond for us....including a canal view upgrade, a complimentary buffet breakfast for both of us and a sparkly bottle with a lovely card on arrival. "My stay at the Ruby Hotel was great. The ambience is so chic and modern. The staff were friendly and welcoming always willing to the help. There was also a restaurant/bar with small bites in the hotel which I didn’t get to try but the menu was always provided when asked. Metro was a 5 min walk, about 3 dinning restaurants within a 5-10min walk. Very quiet and clean area with a lovely marina near by. Just a 10 min car ride to the AMS airport you cannot beat that. About a 15-20 min car ride tops to the center city attractions. But my only concern was housekeeping as they didn’t do a throughly room clean. "
