"Great rooms - modern, clean and functional"

"We had an amazing stay at this hotel. It was very central to the train station/tram services but at night for 2 young women we felt the street was unsafe to walk down. Couldn’t fault the hotel and the staff however, so friendly and gave great advice. The people on the streets however were very sketchy. "

"In business since 1890, this hotel shows some Old World charm in its public areas. The bar off the lobby is elegant and comfortable. I like that the reception desk has kept the original large room keys hanging up as decoration. The mini fridge in the room is very handy and very cold. The stuff in it is overpriced, but I took all of it out and filled it with my own drinks and snacks. There are multiple grocery options in the small shopping centre about 100 metres from the hotel. Good glassware in the room. Powerful air conditioning cooled the room quickly on a warm day. You can also open the windows for fresh air. In the bathroom you can most easily see the age of the property. Tall, narrow bathtub with one of those swinging plexiglass half doors. Very easy to flood the floor when showering. Also, the hair dryer is one of those absurd units that is attached to the wall, and requires a person to hold down a button to make it run on its one setting. The hotel is right across from the main train station, so there are some marginalized people hanging around the area. As with any big city, you want to be aware of your surroundings when out and about. I was comfortable in this hotel, and would consider staying there again."

"From check-in to check-out things went very smoothly. The room was fine and a typical 3-4 star hotel very close to the main train station. Wi-Fi was fast and free, beds comfortable, laminate flooring, coffee machine but we asked for and received a kettle to make tea etc. Mini bar was overpriced and we did not use. Hanging space was ample for a short break. Ventilation and A/C were fine. Breakfast was quite busy on all days and the hotel seems to be used as a stop-over by coach tours etc. Selection of food was good though and the staff were great. Did not visit the pool or gym. Close to the U-bahn station and main station which is undergoing massive refurbishment. As always with main train stations, there was a more 'seedy' side of people in the area, which made us wary, but no problems encountered to be honest. Happy with the choice."

"This hotel was an excellent stay. The price was very reasonable, and came with a lot of perks (air conditioning, dishwasher, stove, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer). The pictures outline exactly what you are getting. Parking nearby for a small fee. Great stay!"

"Property was close to the train staion. Service was clean. The room was small and only twin beds were available. Water was always hot for shower. Public transportation was easy to get at the train station. "
