I emailed 4 times a week before our stay to confirm and get additional details on the day of arrival and no response so I decided to call and got someone and promised me they will follow up with an email for additional details which they did however we found out that they would not meet us at the apartment to walk us through to familiarize ourselves instead we had to to go the office to pick up the keys. "It's really at top of the world. The cottage is at the top of Nessalu mountain top. Excellent if you want to spend time in nature. It's difficult to find so contact the owner before you go there. Owner is very friendly and very helpful. She knows only German, but she was really nice to use Google translate to talk. I want to really thank her for that. I think it's good for a group 10-15 people. But it will be amazing for a couple too."

Das FeWo verfügt über eine Gute Lage, jedoch ist sie vollständig mit altem Teppichboden ausgelegt. Dies ist definitiv bei einem FeWo in denen Haustiere erlaubt sind, nicht dem Hygiene-Standard entsprechend. Der Hinweis sollte zudem für Hausstauballergiker gegeben werden. "The house is well laid out with everything you need. Oehningen has the best ice cream in the world at a farm off Hoeristrasse and a wonderful swimming beach with all facilities for a very modest price. Lots of country walks and ferries up and down the lake."

"Wir wollten mit unserem Hund einfach mal dem Alltag entfliehen und haben das perfekte Ferienhaus dafür gefunden.Gepflegter verwunschenen Garten, Top Lage, schön am Ortsrand.Häuschen richtig schnuckelig renoviert. Haben auch mal abends den Kamin angemacht. Der sehr haben wir nicht vermisst.Dafür umso mehr die Zeit mit uns genossen.Sehr zu empfehlen!!!"

"We enjoyed our stay in Waldstatt. The house was in a nice location for us to travel to various places in the region. We do wish there had been a charcoal or gas grill and a dryer. The kitchen was very nice and very well stocked will all the items we needed. The children enjoyed the bunk beds."

"Sehr ruhig gelegenes, schnuggeliges Ferienhaus, das zweckdienlich ausgestattet ist. Durch die beiden Ebenen gibt es eine geschickte räumliche Trennung. Äusserst freundliche Vermieter, die auch bei Problemen schnell, zuverlässig und kompetent Abhilfe schaffen. Wirklich sehr angenehme und tolle Gastgeber, bei denen wir uns äusserst wohl gefühlt haben. Haben unsere Kinder auch sehr lieb mitgenommen und alles gezeigt. Toll. Die Möglichkeit für Kinder auf dem Hof mitlaufen zu dürfen (Füttern...) ist...

"Schöne, top gepflegte Ferienwohnung in ruhiger Lage. Gute Anbindung zu den Bundesstraßen rund um den Bodensee und man ist mit dem Auto auch schnell in Überlingen selbst. (ca. 10 min) Von der Ausstattung her war alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Genügend Stauraum in den Schlafzimmern war auch vorhanden. Vom Balkon hatte man einen Blick ins Grüne. Die Vermieter waren super nett! Sehr zu empfehlen!"

"Would highly recommend staying here! The staff were lovely upon check in, they allowed us to check in early and allowed us to leave our bags with them when we checked out! The room had everything we needed and the location was excellent, a one minute walk from the station! I was very impressed with the breakfast, bacon and eggs, what more do you want? Would highly recommend staying here, the staff were so lovely they deserve a shout out as well!"

"Excellent place to stay overnight prior to morning transatlantic flight home. Safe comfortable bed McDonald’s available next door for food. Must’ve made even McDonald’s is pricey for food in Switzerland. Convenient shuttle picks you up at the airport after coming in by train and drops you off at the airport the next morning for your flight. "
