"The hosts bent over backwards to personalise our stay, whilst respecting our privacy. From the homemade tablet, pancakes and artwork to the birthday balloons and beers, we had a lovely break. The cabin has everything you need, and the hot tub is fantastic to soak in under the stars. We just wish we could have stayed longer to explore the area more. "I've stayed here a few times now and I really can't fault it. It's convenient for the train, only 5 minutes walk to the station, the hotel has a friendly welcoming feel, the rooms are a good size and the beds are very comfortable. "

Everything you need for an overnight stop

"The hotel is located next to the shops and restaurants at the service station. Parking is in the regular service station parking Check-in was fast, with very little paperwork to complete. The room was large with tea and coffee facilities and all that we needed in the bathroom. The bed was very comfortable and there was very little traffic noise. If we ever needed to stop overnight on our way north we would definitely consider stopping here."
