"We had a fantastic stay in our double room. The building is incredible, a real marvel to stay in. The room was spacious and spotless, with a comfortable bed and nice warm high pressure shower. There is busy traffic outside but, as suggested in the room itself, we enjoyed sitting and watching it go by and were undisturbed by any noise. The blackout curtains also blocked any light out. "For the price I paid, sharing with a friend, it was a really comfortable, safe stay. We were staying in one of the private single bed rooms - beds were comfortable and clean, room was well decorated (loved the graffiti mural on the wall), and the bathroom was well suited. "Returned from full day of sightseeing, FOB didn’t work (10:30 PM). No one answered call via call button. Thankfully, fellow guest let me in. WiFi is complete rubbish in common areas. "Das Hostel hat neue Besitzer bekommen, die den Laden wieder in Schwung bringen wollen. Das Zimmer im Gästehaus hatte leider keinen Fernseher und war sehr einfach ausgestattet. "Our apartment was definitely a lot more dated than the one shown in the Hotels.com pictures, so that’s a bit misleading. Second room with the bunk bed actually had no window for example. However, for an overnight stop to accommodate five people I think the ResidHotel still offers good value. The apartment was clean and comfortable. The lad at reception could not have been more helpful, and the location is pretty good. We also used their secure onsite parking. "
