"Great place to stay!!"

"Overall I'd give 4.5 stars. Great location if you want to be close to the National Park. I received a free upgrade to the king room on the ground floor, but there was a persistent musty smell, similar to a gym locker. The dehumidifier in the room would not work, despite the instructions to juggle the tank until the light turns off. I suspect this is the cause of the smell. Otherwise the accomodations were fine, bed was not very comfortable but worked after a long day hiking. Check in and check...

"Amazing view from the king suite! Charming character and appreciated keurig with coffee pods and creamer, silverware and paper plates, etc. Walls thin and had some disturbance from one neighbor. Parking is difficult and steep."

"This is the real Hawaii! The property is located in a relatively remote area about 30 minutes south of Pahoa. Beautiful setting in the middle of a forest not too far from the beach. Isaac Hale Park is within walking distance and although the beach isn’t very safe for swimming there is a pond there that you can swim in. The accommodations are primitive and like camping but Mango Cabin was very spacious and the beds were VERY comfy. It is off-grid but there is electricity to the cabins. The cabins...

"The property is surrounded by a tranquil rainforest feel. Room is beautifully decorated and filled with special touches, including fresh baked banana bread and many goodies! 10 mins from volcano national park."
