"We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It’s what we needed to get away for the weekend. The place has everything we needed and it has that simple yet cozy feel to it. We love how quiet it is staying there, the surroundings are clean and it’s that secluded yet close to everything little peaceful place we needed.Host was great at communicating with us as well. "Unable to get a hotel room so this was the only alternative. The RV was listed as big enough to sleep 4. Three would have been possible but 4 a stretch and there’s no way 4 people could have taken a hot shower. I got a lukewarm one day one (only in for several minutes) and my son’s was ice cold. Also the place was clean but smelled of stale beer. Also the AC ran constantly even though thermostat was set at 75 degrees. Place was frigid."

"First and foremost, the property was as described and very clean. This is the last cabin on this trail and the privacy is very nice. Very well appointed and had everything we needed. From relaxing in the hot tub or sitting by the fire listening to the water it was so relaxing and peaceful. We will definitely be returning. "

"We stayed at the home while getting our son settled in as a freshman at Virginia Tech and also spent some time enjoying the area. It's an older building in a rustic setting, but the home has been updated and we found it to be clean and comfortable. The nearby creek is lovely. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again."

"We had the pleasure of staying in this beautiful cabin over the Thanksgiving holiday. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed. We enjoyed listening to the sound of the stream outside. It was a short and easy drive to Blacksburg, where we attended a football game. We spent several days hiking in the area. The host was gracious and extremely responsive throughout our stay."

"Our 4 night stay was wonderful, the inside has been recently renovated albeit it looks like some work is still being done in certain areas. It certainly did not deter from the overall experience and the owners have done a great job with the improvements thus far. The kitchen is amazing for cooking and entertaining. The house has an in-line water heater which was nice! The location is 45 minutes from Winterplace ski resort and about a 15 min car ride to most retail restaurant establishments. ...

"We loved Four Fillies! The property was kept up very well and was so beautiful. I loved the sound of the creek. We travelled back and forth from Blacksburg which was a bit of a trek (45 minutes) but was a fairly easy drive. it was so worth it!"

"Dirty, stink bugs everywhere!!!!! Needs updating especially considering the price. Never again. Lights don’t work. Windows and doors don’t fit and are hard to operate. Again stick bugs everywhere!!!! Had planned a brunch for the grandchildren but had to cancel because the place was a disaster. I am pretty laid back but this was awful."
