"We had a wonderful Thanksgiving Holiday week in this immaculate, cute and cozy cottage. it was perfect for our family (my wife and I, 87 yo parents and our Siberian Husky). the location was perfect and the accomodations were excellent. our host/hostess thought of everything that we needed to make our stay perfect. will make this a tradition!"

"Property is conveniently located to many trailheads as well as grocery stores. Very comfortable furnishings with lots of cozy blankets. Kithcen is well equipped with lots of glassware, pots, pans, etc. Even has a pretty well stocked pantry in case you forgot your cholula sauce! Home is located on a crest that allowed for some good night sky observing. Views from each window is spectacular. Can only imagine what it would be like when warmer outside to use the back deck and screened in...

"Great stay! Plenty of room for our group of 10. Close to town, well appointed, great outdoor space. My only thing would be the condition of the pans. Most were non stick and were horribly scratched. Having experienced this at multiple rentals over the years I bring one of my own when we rent. This doesn’t bother everyone and that’s great! Just mentioning it if it does. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!!"

"We love staying here. It’s peaceful and quiet. Only problem I had this time was there wasn’t any pot holders to take my food out of the oven. Also if you love to walk which i go for walks everyday , don’t go to the end and turn left I almost got attacked by a big black dog. I was petrified. So. Carry some bear spray to protect yourself from this dog. We will be back hopefully in 2026. "

"The view is just breath taking. This cabin was a perfect place to get away and we could not Get past the view from every room. We decided to cook every meal just to be able to look out and see mountains, the lake and the town right from the dining room table. "We’ve stayed in many VRBO places and this is my very favorite. Hated to leave. Loved the creek running right by the house and spent a lot of time enjoying it. Home is beautifully decorated, well stocked, easy to get into Franklin. Didn’t have a chance to use the fire circles as the weather didn’t cooperate on the day we were free. Nice hike at Rufus Morgan trail and gorgeous views at Wayah Bald and tower. Kathy was very responsive to any questions. Hope to return some day "

"A nice property with large bedrooms and updated baths. Generous amenities are provided in the kitchen area for eating in. Dining and living areas are a little tight to accommodate 15 people. "
