"Our family (two parents, two boys - 6 and 8) had a great stay. The house is right off King but the neighborhood itself is just as charming. There was good space for the kids and the bathrooms and beds were well maintained. I would recommend they update the key lock box in the future to make check-in/checkout easier and add a bit more security to a stay. We would definitely stay here again. "

"The location is a bit off the beaten path but very direct to get into downtown Charleston or Park Circle. The unit is cute, comfortable, has everything you need for a couple or small family. It's about the size of a large hotel suite. Nice selection of kitchen tools, some basic spices, coffee maker and coffee beans. Host was very responsive and helpful."

"We had an amazing stay at the Swell Cottage. Everything was better than advertised. The location was perfect - just steps from the beach and a short walk to restaurants and shops. There was plenty of space for our family of 7. The beach amenities (chairs, umbrellas, boards, toys, mats, cooler etc.) made our beach vacation seamless. This was the first time we didn’t have to buy or rent things for the week. Lynn communicated everything clearly and was so geneelus. We can’t wait to return next...

"This charming home was perfect for our 4 couples to stay in. We were in town for a wedding and it was incredibly spacious and accommodating for our needs. Absolutely love the large porches and close proximity to downtown. The host was very quick to answer any questions that I had. Highly recommend!"

"The beach house is very well maintained and appointed, with a well equipped kitchen and attention to detail in every piece of the decor. The deck is large and invites you to lounge and eat al fresco, unless you are drawn to the beach which is only a couple steps away. We had an amazing time as a family. We can’t wait to come back!"

"Other than some minor things this house was great. We didn’t have time to get to the beach and thought it would be closer, but that’s ok! Owner was super responsive and the house was accommodating. Next time we are booing for a wedding I will have to think more about bathroom space. Being close to Walmart was super convent! "

Nice linens, good mattresses, great kitchen and bathrooms, plus things not all VRBO owners provide, including toiletries, charging stations next to each bed, extra fans and the like.The neighborhood is transitional, which is common in the Charleston area given high real estate costs closer to the main attractions of the historic district. "Pleasant stay at this cozy apt. The location about 10minute walk to the waterfront, shopping on King St and dining . Small kitchen with all the appliances needed to make a small meal. Steps to the bedroom so wouldn’t suggest for small kids or elderly. WiFi is lagging but they do have 2 TVs. Enjoyable stay"

"Great long weekend in Charleston, SC. Old historic home with plenty of charm and the normal quirks that come with old historic homes. Plenty of room for our group of 6 but would easily accommodate more. Good location. Great coffee shop within walking distance. Off street parking which was great. Comfortable beds and pillows. "Our daughter did a school trip to NYC, so we decided to take our 15 year old son to the beach for Springbreak. The location is exactly what we were looking for right on the beach. The deck was amazing and plenty of chaira provided. The house is hugeThis would be ideal for large groups and families.
