"We pull up to the property and it looks old and run down (deck is falling apart). The hot tub is unusable and dirty in the front yard. The fire pit was filled with junk. There is a lake across the street that no human would go in. The code I was given to get into the house was wrong. I had to text the owner for the correct code. When you walk into the house, it was extremely hot, humid and smells moldy. The main AC was BROKEN. There is a portable AC unit that was not turned on. When we turned it...

"This Chalet was clean, safe, and is the perfect location for our extended family of ten with pre-teens and teens. There was plenty of room for us to feel comfortable. We spent the days at nearby Jim Thorpe Whitewater rafting and at Blue Mountain Adventure Park. Our host Jen was readily available to us. We recommend this home and look forward to staying in the Winter as well."

"We had a wonderful vacation at Fern cabin. It was very private, quiet and comfortable. The cabin and property was as beautiful as the pictures. We enjoyed fishing in the ponds, hiking to the waterfall and D&L Trail, and visiting the state park that was nearby. We definitely would love to return and highly recommend this vacation spot."

"This is a cute place just outside of Jim Thorpe with all the "cabin" decor you could find! The only disappointment for us was it was a gas fireplace, and we were hoping for the ambiance of a real fireplace. We couldn't do the outdoor fire pit because of fire restrictions, but it's nicely placed just out back and has swings and plenty of space for outdoor dinner, etc. There is a lovely lake with opportunities for sunsets and walking trails throughout the area.
