"Great retro motel, clean as a whistle, good sized room, parking at door. Our key was in the door on arrival. Five minutes walk into town. Dinning options are very basic on a Monday night. We would have been better off cooking in the units kitchen. Overall a great night."

"This is a great option for larger families and this is our second time staying here. I've taken one star off for not having air conditioning as the upstairs gets very hot. Unfortunately they don't have AC to keep the bedrooms cool. The Doors and windows don't have any fly screens so you can't leave them open as you'd be swamped by bugs and mosquitos if you leave the doors and windows open to cool the place down. They need to install AC in all bedrooms rooms and living rooms and or put screens...

"I almost feel bad giving this property only five stars as my family and I strongly feel that this property deserves at least seven stars. Never had such a smooth check-in process. The location of the property is unbelievable. It is located very close to Lake Tekapo. When we woke up in the morning, we couldn't believe the view in front of us. "The kitchen was perfectly equipped and clean with a beautiful view of the lake. The rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable and the linens and pillows were excellent quality. The washrooms were bright and clean and the staff were super helpful and friendly."
