"The Manor is a beautiful place to stay. The rooms are terrific. It's an easy walk to all the shops and restaurants in Bar Harbor. The best part of staying here is the staff. Penny was very friendly and helpful. Christopher can tell you the best places to eat. And Holly is the best. I wanted some place nice for my wife's birthday. Holly got us into Gaylens. (Hope I spelled this correct) She made a call to a personal friend and she got us a window seat on the second floor. If you want a great dining experience got to Gaylens. It's beautiful, food is great and the staff is fantastic. Also try the Black Friar. Thanks to Christopher, we did. It is neat. We had a great time there. "

"My wife and I stayed for our wedding anniversary. The room was very clean, the balcony was great overlooking Frenchman Bay, and ALL of the housekeeping and wait staff were friendly and super helpful. The facility is in excellent condition and you there is a dedicated bikeway a short ride into Bar Harbor. The hotel is a short 4-5 mile drive to the main trail lot to the carriage road system."
