"Charming home, nicely decorated. Nice view of SW Harbor. Close to grocery store, restaurants, Acadia. If you cannot walk up a flight of stairs, you may want to contact the host, though. Great location. We took a ride on a lobster boat, went to Bar Harbor, went to Cadillac mountain, and drove the park loop. We really enjoyed the island and its beauty. "

"We had everything we needed for a base camp as we visited a friend and of course spent most of our time exploring Acadia. This was the most economical place we could find and it was a score for sure. Hosts were on site most days and very helpful. Utilized the laundry facility where board games and extra kitchen items were supplied. Thanks for a great stay, we’ll be sure to come back! Cheers."

"I truly wish I could have stayed longer. It is a peaceful setting, especially in the mornings at sunrise. We toured Acadia, Bar Harbor, Southwest, and Northeast Harbors. FYI not much was open the last week in October. The house is spotless and well-appointed. The owner provides quality linens, towels, cookware, grill, and grilling tools. Bring your own Shampoo though. The twin room has a TV which we did not use. The King room does not, but it really didn't matter. We watched TV in the living...

Lots of deer graze in this area, which testifies to the serene atmosphere. Greg stopped by when we were outside to make sure things were going well. "Me and my 3 dogs stayed and had an amazing time. The location is great for excursions into the park to hike or drive around as well as easy access into Bar Harbor. The only difference between the online listing and the cabin was the carpet appears to be recently replaced with laminate flooring that made it even easier to clean up after the dogs. "Property was very nice and clean. Just 3 cabins on site so a small establishment. The owner/manger seemed nice. There were pastries etc for breakfast but we had bagels with us which we toasted in the toaster in the cabin and had with some nice hot coffee. The roon was mostly well appointed. The bed was a bit soft for us but others may like it. Best part is you can walk to the lighthouse which makes great sense during sunset times. "
