This is the closest I have stayed to Masjid up Aqsa in my four times visiting, and out of the different hotels, This was the most accommodating as well as clean. "The Templer in is a fabulous place. The location is on a quiet street. And is a few steps away from The First Station and it’s many fine restaurants. You can walk off lunch or dinner by strolling through Train Track Park. The walk to the Old City is 10-15. The Templer Inn’s architecture is unique. The breakfast is wonderful! "This hotel was the house of the grandparents of the owner. She is very sweet and tells you the history of the building and of her family. The hotel has only six rooms, and is therefore very special and different from a large-box hotel. It is extremely clean and the room was perfect, and in a residential, interesting neighborhood. If you want a more personal hotel and connection to Israel, compared to standard hotels, I highly recommend Hotel Biazi."

"The location is absolutely incredible! (Especially if you are a frum/Orthodox Jew, this was centrally located and walking distance from everything: the Kotel, Ben Yehuda, etc.) The only downside is that there was a lot of music outside Friday night and no air-conditioning in the two bedrooms. Overall though, the location is the best you can ask for. "

"I had mixed up the dates and was prepared to pay for a new room. But the staff, Maria and her colleague, sorted everything out, made a lot of phone calls so i did not need to pay for new rooms. Offered me coffe as I waited, gived me a room before they even got confirmation from hotels.com that it was okey to switch. Upgraded the room with balcony, water etc just to be nice. "I love historic hotels such as this one. Everything is clean and atmospheric ,I liked my room very much. The attached restaurant serves nightly specialtes of local recipes. On the expensive side though I've found all dining in Israel is relatively expensive compared with Europe and other countries. "The entry is a dirty street but the place is nice. The men running it are helpful and friendly. I recommend this place . The only thing it’s missing is laundry facilities and outlets in the lobby .The laundry is thru the alley across the street and only takes coins so I had a challenge finding a place as I was using cc but I’d stay there again . There’s a grocery store next door which Is convenient. "
