"We had the most fantastic stay for my husbands birthday. We were absolutely breath taken from the moment we stepped through the doors. The service was second to none, absolutely fantastic so polite and friendly! The standard was impeccable and we were made to feel so special throughout our stay. The spa was beautiful and we got an upgrade to a gorgeous room which made our stay so special. The Elemis products in the bathroom was a huge plus. Stunning views and just what we needed, the perfect one...

"We had a great weekend here for our 40th wedding anniversary, all the staff very friendly and helpful. Had room 66 with a fab 4 poster bed and a great view over the lake. We ate in the main restaurant for dinner and it was sumptuous honestly like a Michelin star! Breakfast is spot on, everything you need and more. It’s a big old building with lots of character but nicely upgraded too. Will be back 😊 "

"Somewhat obsessed with booking me in for breakfast 3+ days in advance of staying, Dir to availability, and it didn’t reach 50% capacity. WiFi in the room was poor, which hindered me working and watching a movie. Comfortable stay, lovely bar and fireplace area."
