"Nice hotel in the middle of many attractions in Nice."

"Just stayed here for 3 nights and my fiancé and I absolutely loved the hotel! It was super spacious, with the bathroom seperate from the bedroom completely. Staff was so kind, and we had a water dispenser right outside our door that we loved. Honestly, the weather wasn’t great so we spent a lot of time in the room and loved it! "

"Absolutely lovely from beginning to end. Well lit streets leading to the front door, and an easy 8 minute walk from the train station. All the staff were kind and helpful, and my room couldn’t have been nicer. Ample chargers, gorgeous hot shower, Nespresso machine, even a tiny balcony. Perfection, thank you again."

"Nice hotel close to train and convenient (15 minutes) to old town and beach. Staff very welcoming and helpful. Very good breakfast with lots of options. Room was clean and large enough for a couple. Shower cabinet is a little tight. "

"Le Royal was absolute perfection for our stay in Nice! We enjoyed our terrace and being on the Promenade. The room was large and comfortable, as well as the bath. Aline @ front desk was exceptional, even getting us a fan for the room. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Nice. It was beautiful, quiet, very comfortable, and a wonderful location. "The location on the Promenade des Anglais is superb with easy access to all the city's wonderful attractions on foot (or by bus from the nearby "Promenade Congrès stop). My room on the 5th floor with a double balcony (albeit that at times it seemed just a wide ledge !) had sweeping and uninterrupted views of the Baie des Anges - perfect for watching the impressive firework display at the close of the Nice Carnaval. The room was spacious but could have had a more Mediterranean "feel" without the brown and beige colour scheme ! Excellent quality bed linen. It's a pity that there was no chest of drawers which the room could easily accommodate for guests staying more than a few nights. It also needs proper bedside tables but that was impossible with the placement of the bed. The kettle was poorly located within a cupboard where one also had to store clothes. The bathroom was large but the brown marble - everywhere - was personally unappealing. Surprisingly, the shower within the bath had no screen or waterproof curtain which meant that water was sprayed beyond the bath. The basin - of two - which I used had a deficient plug plunger which meant the water was not retained in the basin. The latter issue being a reason for marking the hotel down on its sustainability / eco rating. Breakfast was well presented with a good choice of hot and cold food. Staff were faultless - friendly, helpful and professional. Despite the few niggles I had, I would be very happy to stay again. "
