While the property is old and could do with a few upgrades it was lovely, clean and you couldn’t want for a better spot right on the esplanade. Multiple dining options around and everything is walkable. We would definitely stay again.

We loved our stay here! The view was amazing and the staff were lovely. The bed was super comfortable. When I booked I assumed the photo of the view had been manipulated but it NO it actually is like that in person! So amazing to sit with your doors open, looking over the French Riveria. We would definitely go back.

Our city view room was clean, recently renovated, comfortable bed, had a fridge & kettle - which is important to us. Big bathroom with a great shower. Nothing in the room was broken or worn out. Nice staff. Excellent location. Strongly recommend staying here. Next time I will upgrade our room to have a nicer view (we were 1st fl looking at a metal roof )

I am sorry I had the worst experience! My room smelled when I walked in. And sheets were stained! When I complained, they change the room but the smell was in there, not sure if the carpet is old, not enough air circulation! Or just using cleaning supplies that is fume bad! The manger was rude!

Having a full ocean view off the promenade was the best thing that could be said about it and probably the only thing. There were no electrical outlets in the bathroom that were functioning. If it were to function, there would be only one. The hold for the toilet paper did not work. It was separated from the wall. They heated towel rack did not work properly and had pieces missing. There were no amenities to speak of. A man who said he was the hotel director, named Frank, was obviously ill prepared to interact with customers, and essentially was extremely rude, not just impolite. He seemed to be a fish out of water and totally reactive and unprepared for knowing how you deal with customers in a hospitality situation. He really made this stay just by virtue of who he is uncomfortable for us and it’s clear to me he has that same effect on some of the employees. Perhaps all of them for all I know. This is not a man who should be in the position of director. He apparently does not understand who he’s really working for.

The hotel is well located and felt safe. However, it could benefit from a renovation, particularly with a more modern aesthetic and additional open areas outside or in the back. The air conditioning in the rooms was not functioning at its full capacity, which could be improved. The breakfast, priced between 19 to 21 euros, is worthwhile if you prefer buffet-style meals. However, I believe you can find better quality and deals at nearby restaurants, just a short 1-2 block walk from the hotel. The location is convenient, and it’s a nice place for a short stay of 1-2 days, particularly in October, November, or December, as the cool air can be enjoyed by opening the windows. I had no issues with the administration; they were very friendly and accommodating. Avis sur l’hôtel L’hôtel est bien situé et donne un sentiment de sécurité. Cependant, il pourrait bénéficier d’une rénovation, notamment avec une esthétique plus moderne et des espaces extérieurs supplémentaires, peut-être à l’arrière. La climatisation dans les chambres ne fonctionnait pas à pleine capacité, ce qui pourrait être amélioré. Le petit-déjeuner, proposé entre 19 et 21 euros, vaut le coup si vous aimez les repas sous forme de buffet. Toutefois, je pense que vous pouvez trouver des repas de meilleure qualité à un meilleur prix dans les restaurants à proximité, à seulement 1 ou 2 pâtés de maisons. We enjoyed the the general ambiance of your hotel. Unfortunately, your steadfast policy of a 3pm , and no earlier check-in is insensitive and non consumer friendly. My wife and I arrived mid morning and your staff was rather unsympathetic about the fact that we had a very early flight. We slept and rested on your couch for a few hours before leaving for lunch. We noticed another couple sleeping from around 9 am to 3 pm - not an attractive feature for a hotel. Being more flexible and understanding of travelers' uncontrollable flight times and weariness from traveling would go a long way. For a hotel that tries to show class, does not demonstrate it with its lack of empathy and flexibility when considering it's clients. We left at 3:30 am. Are you telling me that our room could not be ready for weary travelers for almost 12 hours!! We travel many times a year and although most hotels have a similar policy, if a room is available the vast majority try their best to accommodate their clients. Thank you.
