"We had a great stay at Mamma Ciccia’s. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was delicious offering a choice of pastries, meat and cheese, yogurts and bread. Hot drinks were made to order. The facilities were perfect. We stayed in a small, very clean, 1 bed apartment with sofa bed in the kitchen area. Location was incredible! "What a gem!! Bergamo was a half-hearted, 1-day visit we added to our trip since we were flying into Milan in the evening & yet we were SO pleasantly surprised! The old town, which is walking distance from La Valleta, is beautiful with a nice handful of shops & restaurants. La Valleta is a lovely hillside Villa with a small handful of rooms & very nice & kind proprietors. But what really stands out is their breakfast! It has the usual staples (fruit, yogurt, cheese, meats, cakes) but they offer...
