"This was a perfect place to stay after we visited Lincoln's New Salem State Park. The staff was very welcoming. We had an excellent meal in the small pub. We loved the rustic log building and decor. Our room was very comfortable with a fantastic view of the Sangamon River. We would gladly stay here again. "

"Room was a little dirty, there is a huge language barrier due to the owners not speaking much english, sheets were a little stained up, the hotel shares a parking lot with a gas station that has a disel pump in back. Over all if you need a cheap quick hotel, stop here. "
