"Smoking too close to room doors, smell was thick and could smell in my room. No place to park that was not a mud puddle. Curtains in disrepair. Shower did not work, only the faucet and did not want a bath in that tub, No light over vanity. Had to open curtains to put make up on. Have to sign on to personal streaming service for any television. No outlet near nightstands. Had to rearrange the room to set up CPAP and thank goodness I travel with power strips. There is not a restaurant for breakfast but the Quinter Pit Stop had good coffee and some breakfast offered with friendly people. At check in he charged my card $75 instead of the booking amount of $45 ish, due to language barrier I showed him the booking, he indicated he would fix it but the charge remained $75. For this room half that is too much. Sorry I have stayed in many economy rooms that are usually fine for a night or two. This was top three worst ever in 55 years. "

"The front desk check-in was like being greeted by a long-lost friend - welcoming and helpful with making dinner plans. The room was comfortable. The hot breakfast was available by 5:00am. Nice stay... fair price."

"The Prairie Rose is a beautifully done hotel! Not only did it accommodate our big family with a large room, but every room is done up with pieces from the surrounding areas history/items. It also has a bar area with awesome staff and good food and the best drinks!!! In the morning you can walk down the hall and grab some breakfast and a coffee or cappuccino, all wonderful! The Prairie Rose has several 3 bed rooms. I wish I would have asked for a tour of some of the other rooms. There is also a washer and dryer with all laundry supplies provided at no charge! Probably our best hotel experience ever! If you are ever near Wakeeny, Ks it definitely worth the stay! "
