"Die Lage des Chalets ist hervorragend: ruhig, tolle Sicht, Nähe zur Seilbahn und zum Loslaufen. Man kann auf zwei Ebenen (Balkon und Veranda) draußen sitzen und genießen! Die gesamte Ausstattung des Chalets ist jedoch etwas bescheiden, allerdings ist dies auch dem wenigen Platz geschuldet. Es fehlt ein Kleiderschrank, der Fernseher steht etwas unglücklich am Fußende des Bettes, in der Küche wäre eine Kaffeekanne und ein Stopfen für das Spülbecken schön. Aber das sind nur kleine Einschränkungen:...

"Great Bear is a lovely chalet with breathtaking views in a unique environment. I cannot think of a better summer escape, given the stunning surroundings of the Val Hérens, the local cuisine, produce, meat products, and delicious wines. The chalet fits the rustic character of the tiny village perfectly, while affording the necessary comforts for an Alpine stay. Absolutely LOVED IT!!!"

"Fantastic place to stay! We really felt at home in this chalet and could not have been more impressed with the amenities and the views. We took full advantage of the fireplace, the hot tub, the slide and the outdoor reclining chair. We even spent a rainy day cooking traditional Swiss recipes and playing board games. "We came in the summer looking to hike in the area and it was great. We were there only a few day but wish we had a longer stay. Many hiking/biking trails. Sabrina is a wonderful host and very helpful. It is not a large house but the 3 of us had plenty of room. The kitchen has everything you need and all the appliances worked and appear fairly new. "The house was a bit small for a group of 7. I can't imagine 9 people. The WiFi password would not work and it seemed the LAN cable for connecting to the internet was missing. We had to use our mobile data the whole stay. Other than that, it was fine and did the trick to house our group for 2 nights."
