He was independent but close by during our stay. he loved the place. just the right size for our extended family to gather at the house and guest house in back yard. We all got together for meals and travel from the property, but still had our own space. IT WAS GREAT for all of us."

"We loved our stay in this impeccably decorated cottage suite. The yard is beautiful and the neighborhood is clean and safe. The bed was so comfortable and the furnishings beautiful. The huge walk in shower was an extra bonus after a dip in the spa. I enjoyed lounging on the patio during the day. The kitchen is well stocked and having the washer and dryer was really nice. "Beautiful view, plenty of outdoor charm. Lots of trees and a nice outdoor area with 2 chaise lounges. (Hope it doesn't rain during your visit, because there is no comfortable chair anywhere else.) "The home is tucked into the foothills amidst beatiful surroundings that provide a wonderful respite from the city. The location is peaceful, the lodging is well-appointed, the accomodations are comfortable and inviting, and the owners are lovely. I'll definitely be staying here again on a future trip to see my family in Pasadena!"

"This house was filthy & very poorly maintained. Grime on walls, dishes, floors and pool. We paid extra to have pool heated and clean, but when we arrived, it was cold and had days of debris in it. There was food on the deck, around the fire pit and sitting area. The palm tree lighting is hanging at toddler height that could easily become entangled around child’s neck.
