Just two minutes to St. Lawrence river, big park With perfect bike path and good facilities for residents. There is a public standard swimming pool around the property. Ten minutes walking distance to Metro superstore. Will introduce to my friends.

Super friendly host who was most accommodating and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. It was easy to find by car and parking was easy enough. Shame that the Montreal traffic was so bad at this time as they seem to be digging up every road simultaneously causing the most apalling jams. Using public transport works well. Local shops for self catering needs are easily accessible. Overall a good few days in a good location.

Roomy Neighborhood apartment
We were just visiting Montreal for 3 nights and as we are a family of 5, the apartment afforded us room and the extra bathroom. It is located in the Tetreaultville section of the city. Essentially, it is a row home converted into several apartments of varying sizes. This apartment is roomy. The beds and futon were comfortable and there were supplies available to us. Very nice. The kitchen area needs blinds or curtains but overall a pleasant and convenient experience. There is one television which is in the dining/kitchen area which means it is difficult to view if someone is sleeping on the futon in the living room which was the situation in our case.. We could have used another TV. The owner seems to be making ongoing improvements (floors, heating/ac) and we were happy with the stay. The threshold between the bedroom and kitchen needs to be installed as you can stub your toe easily. The ST. Lawrence River is a block away and affords are large park with walking trails. The Lafontaine Tunnel is only a mile away which allows you to access the superhighways. Place Versailles shopping is not far along with access to the Metro.

East side gem
Had to have a two bedroom place or suite, because my teenage daughter insisted. Two bedroom suites are usually pricey, but this place was very modest. It's not a hotel, but a townhouse (I think there are half a dozen of them) set up - all run by a lovely family who are bilingual. Don't expect a front desk and all the amenities. Do expect a clean place, with tons of room, in two floors, at much less than a standard hotel would cost. I will stay there again.

I came late at this place. He was trying to contact me several times to make sure that I do not have troubles. We stayed at the second floor and were able to see the outside with fresh air. The bed was very comfortable too.

Not a single garbage can in the whole suite, spider webs, and we found a spider in one of the beds.
