Good management and good location
St Laurent location was perfect for transit, restaurants and Montreal culture. The apartment was very comfortable and we appreciated the balcony to sit on. The manager Aret was very helpful with small requests. This is a lively neighborhood and can be noisy but it’s so close to Old Montreal, Chinatown and easy access by transit to everything. The neighbouring building is a low budget tourist rental and sadly had some noisy young people staying- other than that it was peaceful during the night.

Excellent location in the Plateau right in the middle of shops and restaurants. Walking distance or a short Uber ride to Mont-Royal, China Town and Old Montreal, There is no on-site parking although there is a private outdoor lot adjacent to the property. The unit owner was quite responsive to my emails.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE If you want your stay to look like below, then by all means, stay at this apartment: Booking: • More than three months in advance, pay the full $261 per night. • Twelve hours before arrival, not yet receive notification of which apartment, entrance code or keys. Spend two hours on the phone leaving messages and talking to nobody who has a clue about the place. • Six hours before arrival, receive notifications for two different apartments at two different addresses (they’re actually at the same address), one with an entrance code and one with keys. Arrival: • Discover there is no parking available, despite every assurance there is plenty when booking. • Discover the code to the first apartment doesn’t work, so no entry permitted. • Discover the keys to the second apartment in an unlocked, unmanned janitor’s closet (safety)?!?! Imagine our surprise upon entering the apartment to find it was already occupied for the night! • Spend another hour on the phone trying, without success, to reach anyone who has a clue about the place. Then: • At 4pm on Saturday of a long weekend, try to find another hotel room in downtown Montreal, which we finally did for a ‘reasonable’ $450+ per night; Afterwards: • More hours on the phone, always with nobody who has a clue about the place, and being assured we would be refunded our money within 3-4 days; • ALMOST A MONTH LATER, NOW, AND STILL NOT RECEIVED A PHONE CALL OR REFUND!

Great stay, felt homey and fun!
Place is in a fun neighborhood, the staff was polite and accommodating. Was hard ro reach on weekend when A/C wasn't working due to caretakers lost or broken phone (not his fault), otherwise it was a really great stay and the flat is old, but homey and europeanish! The streets were packed for all hours of the night with party goers but the windows completely silenced them, I was very impressed! Slso great murals in easy walking distance and grwat food!!

Great location!
Clean, simple apartment style hotel on busy st. Laurent street. Walking distance to attractions, bars and restaurants, and metro. No frills here, but clean and comfortable accommodation.

This hotel offers an excellent location for Old Montreal. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen facilities offered us the ability to make our own breakfast. The staff were helpful and even offered to carry our heavy suitcases up the stairs.

Disappointing experience in Montreal
I have used Expedia many times to book accommodation but this was by far the worse and most bizarre experience I've had. There was no check-in desk, so I met someone I had texted on the street. There was no parking available, and driving in Montreal is tricky, so the woman got into the car with me and my kids to show us were parking was. Then it was $26 for 14 hours, and again, a weird situation. Once I refused to pay, the woman pointed me to street parking that was free until 8 am, when you can pull it on the main street and pay for a meter. The room was 3.5 flights of steep stairs up with no elevator. There was AC on, but it was not efficient at all, so the room was extremely hot. The huge blind that covered the only window was broken and could not be put up. And it had holes in it. The linen was old. The towels were old....like camping old. And the tv did not work and when I reached out to the woman, she didn't know how it worked either. this room was expensive and I do not recommend it. I think that they use the pictures to make it look way better than it is. In fact, I had communicated that I was driving from Fredericton to Montreal before arriving, as they required a 2 hour window of my check in....and still, they did not tell me that there was no parking available. Very bizarre. And disappointing. It was the scariest situation I have been in with my kids and accommodation. I do not recommend this place.

Comfortable and great location.
The apartment is in a great location. A 24hr grocery store is within walking distance. Many options for eating and bars all a short walk. We were able to walk to Old Montreal and the Port from here. Unfortunately the AC wasn't properly working and the blind for the patio door had been damaged by the previous guests and had not been repaired prior to our arrival. Our host pointed it out to us and it was not that big of a problem since I could pull it down and roll it up by hand due to my height.It is spacious and had a appropriately stalked kitchen with dishes and cutlery. Comfortable stay and would consider staying here again if the above repairs are made. We will consider staying here the next time we travel to Montreal.

Enjoy New York like a local
This apartment hidden away above a nail salon is fantastic. The location is perfect. the décor and furnishings are nice and the apartments are very comfortable. The reality is , you are NOT staying in a hotel. It is private apartments and you look after yourself. This is not a problem as the location has you with any and everything you need just downstairs. Food , groceries , beer and wine and cafes and restaurants all on your door step. The apartment has a kitchen and all the cooking utensils plates etc you would need. There is no reception and you should ensure you have made contact and arrangements prior to your arrival. We would definitely stay here again ( even though there is no lift and we were on the fourth floor) The experience of living in New York in your own apartment far outweighed the hotel room stay.
