After a 6 hour drive from Como we wanted to have a meal and as we have a dog couldn't eat in the restaurant so I went down to the bar and ordered room service. "An old hotel, definitely had character. Toilet played up a couple of times but quickly fixed. Air con/heating damned noisy. We were placed 3 floors up which with suitcases was hard going on windy staircases. Good breakfast quite plentiful. Didn't eat their otherwise as couscous not our thing. "As you can see Metz station just down the road from the hotel room, it is clearly well-located when travelling by train. The selected room was quite large and clean and tidy on arrival. Breakfast is a real bargain (especially compared with other hotels of a similar category) and had an excellent choice of drinks and breakfast foods and anything else you require can be found at the station"
