"Very cool little chalet/cabin in La Sage (Evolene). Best for 2 people max. and despite the size, having 2 floors to spread is decent. The outdoor balcony/deck facing the mountain...esp with the great weather makes in a gem. Plenty of hiking right around the village too. Will rent the larger one next time, if available"

"Great Bear is a lovely chalet with breathtaking views in a unique environment. I cannot think of a better summer escape, given the stunning surroundings of the Val Hérens, the local cuisine, produce, meat products, and delicious wines. The chalet fits the rustic character of the tiny village perfectly, while affording the necessary comforts for an Alpine stay. Absolutely LOVED IT!!!"

"Fantastic place to stay! We really felt at home in this chalet and could not have been more impressed with the amenities and the views. We took full advantage of the fireplace, the hot tub, the slide and the outdoor reclining chair. We even spent a rainy day cooking traditional Swiss recipes and playing board games. We could not have asked for anything more and really felt that this chalet was a huge player in our magical Swiss vacation!"

"Wir hatten einen perfekten Aufenthalt in diesem Chalet! Das Haus ist sehr schön eingerichtet, hat zwei Kamine und einen großen Garten. Es gibt große Wohnzimmer, die Schlafzimmer sind eher klein aber sehr gemütlich. In den Küchen sind alle nötigen Geräte, Geschirr etc. vorhanden. Der Vermieter ist äußerst sympathisch. Ich würde das Haus jederzeit wieder buchen und kann das auch jedem nur Empfehlen!"

"The chalet was well kitted out with everything you needed for a comfortable stay. It was warm and had the addition of an open fire. It took us 10 minutes to drive to the slopes each day, which was perfect and meant we were skiing before 9am, with a short drive home after. The chalet is quirky with lots of different sleeping areas, the kids loved it."

"We came to Zermatt to see the Matterhorn, and see it we did from every room and every light! We especially enjoyed the spacious terrace. The view is even more beautiful than pictured in listing."

"We hebben genoten van het prachtige huis, alle luxe aanwezig, behalve magnetron, wat niet handig was voor het maken van flesvoeding voor de baby. De weg naar het huis toe is erg stijl en zit vol gaten, met een gewone auto (zonder 4x4) kun je hier nauwelijks komen, de bandenslijtage is groot. Met grote vaart kwamen we de weg ingereden, maar door de kuilen in de weg, ging de snelheid eruit en lukte het nauwelijks om boven te komen. "The house was impeccable with a spacious family room and a well equipped kitchen. Lovely decks to admire the sunsets. So quiet and with gorgeous views. Comfortable beds. The owner, Walter, came to check and make sure we were happy. The property manager was very responsive for any thing. As for the surroundings, they were great with the paths up the mountain to walk to Grachen and branch off to other hiking areas. Truly a perfect stay, we wish we could have staid even more.
