"The place is very conveniently located and we were able to walk everywhere in town! The rooms were fine just a little run down but overall comfortable and surprisingly quiet for the location!"

"We liked the location and the fact it was quiet.The bed was comfortable. Kitchen adequate but would have liked electric kettle. It was wet weather and we had no control over heating as it was put on remotely and only occasionally during our weeks stay. We appreciated the clean towels and linen everyday. A welcome pack was not included ie info on nearest shop. So more difficult when travelling without a car. Lucca is a wonderful city and a few little touches would have made us feel more welcome...

"This is not a hotel it is a guest house very clean very close to the tower 30 minutes walking from train station it was quite we stayed one night it was ok for the price we paid "

"Not so good. Shower curtain has mildew on it and the bathroom was shared. We arrived from the airport very late and gave the taxi driver the address. When he stopped outside we thought there might be a mistake as there was no sign and it didn’t look like a hotel. I checked the email which was all in Italian. It was 1am in the morning. However I saw someone else trying to enter the code for the front door and went in with them. I showed them my email and they helped us find and get into our room....

"Beware - I booked through Expedia but will not do that again as when couldn’t get a flight in time for the first day, and I tried to change the booking to arrive the second day of my week long stay, it cancelled the whole booking and re-booked at a much higher rate. So I called the B&B to try to make the change but they cannot do this. They saved my room for me but I had to pay for the night I wasn’t there. Annoying. I had a room overlooking the plaza. "Simple but just enough for one night. The lady who gridded us was very nice. Room door very difficult to open with key. Bathroom not in room but still private. You have to come out of your room into a common small area and then go into the bathroom. It was kinda different, but I did not see anyone else there to share bathroom. Very convenient to walk to station , 3 blocks and a 15 min walk to the leaning tower where there were many restaurants . Very safe walk . Many small stores to buy water,...
