"This hotel is actually a working farm, so a place with a difference, courtyard of fruit trees, for example. Dinners are excellent, as are their wines. Management and staff are exceptionally nice and a couple of problems I had were resolved in no time. I hope to stay there again on my way back from Calabria."

"This is a beautiful winery in the hills of Tramonti. Maria and Alfredo Basileo are very friendly and provide great service and meals. The apartment was spacious with a nice bathtub/ shower. The scenery and vineyard are stunning. They grow most of their own food and almost everything is locally sourced. Try Alfredo's homemade preserves and limoncello!"

"We booked a room, showed up before checkin time and they were not operating yet for the season. Mistakes happen, so we weren’t too upset as we found a nearby room at Hotel Portobello . The groundskeeper told us to get a refund thru Expedia. Expedia contacted the hotel, the hotel denied our refund. They said we didn’t cancel within the cancelation time frame?? This place is such a scam. I do not recommend unless you want to risk losing your money. "

"We made this our home base for exploring Capri, Naples, Paestum, Pompeii, etc. Ana is the perfect hostess. Her daughter in law is a fantastic chef. Bruna the dog is a welcomed visitor. We would highly recommend this choice for those driving around to various points of interest with a desire to sleep at a country estate every night with a home cooked dinner and breakfast."

"This lovely, mountainside hotel was one of our best stays anywhere EVER!! The owner/manager Sergi took care of us himself, since it was shoulder season and we had the hotel to ourselves, and his incredible Mama was the chef for one of our best meals in Italy -- or maybe anywhere. "We truly enjoyed this quaint suite. Location was perfect for us: beautiful views, charming town, good proximity to Amalfi Coast, Naples, Pompeii, and Salerno. You can take a ferry from Salerno to main towns on Amalfi Coast and Capri. Just keep in mind that having a car (the smaller the better) is a must for this location. Parking spot is included with rental which is perfect. The house is located in a private gated compound with breathtaking views. We would come back in a heartbeat. "
