"I have been coming to this part of the Russian River for well over a decade. I had stayed here at this very property many years ago while under its previous ownership. It will now be on my list of go to spots to stay. The upgrades that the current owner has done are tasteful and modern while still holding on to the areas rustic charm. "Like: I had to call the number posted on the front door when I arrived. The call was answered quickly and the host came immediately to check me in. She also added a heater to my room to help heat it up (without me asking). She was very friendly and confirmed where I could grab some food. "The property didn’t give directions on how to properly enter the code to open the door. We had to talk to another person staying in the property to give us the trick to entering the code in the keypad. Additionally, we kept requesting extra pillows with no success after playing phone tag with missed calls and unanswered messages. Room was clean at least and the property is in a quiet, secluded location."

"This is the perfect place to unplug and unwind. Especially enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub under the stars every evening. Kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals with great markets nearby. Lots of quality cafe's and restaurants just a short distance from the cottage. Definitely recommend this property for a quiet peaceful escape. Sleeping under the redwoods is totally awesome!"
