"Nice place"

"Picked this spot as our honeymoon location and we could not have picked a better place. The guest room was clean and welcoming and we were welcomed with a bottle of rum and fruit plate! Caron and Dave were great hosts and provided all necessary amenities and then some. We used the provided snorkeling gear, cooler and beach gear nearly every day. The pool was kept clean and was a perfect spot to wind down after long days at the beach. We could not recommend this place more to anybody that is looking for a romantic getaway!! Perfect spot, great location and great hosts!"

"Just finished another week in our absolute favorite place on earth. We have stayed in multiple villas on the island and this has been our favorite by far. The location is excellent and the villa is updated and was spotless upon our arrival. The photos don't even do it justice. Property managers were excellent and helpful in meeting us at the ferry and escorting us to the villa on the first day. The pool was amazing to come home to after a long beach day. Plenty of towels, beach chairs, coolers and an unbelievably well stocked kitchen.Cant wait to come back again!! "

"The property management group was nice and communication was great before and throughout our stay. The house is absolutely gorgeous and the location couldn’t be better. It’s ~10 minutes to the main grocery store and ~15 minutes to Cruz Bay for shopping and dining. The house also comes equipped with beach chairs, snorkel gear, coolers, modern washer/dryer, and much more. Highly recommend this rental! "

"Book it! Everything was picturesque and perfect from the breathtaking views of Fish Bay, great communication, and excellent host hospitality, this is the perfect little cottage for a getaway for two! It was nice to be a little apart from the buzz of Cruz Bay, but still a convenient 7 min away!"

"Samba Azul is a wonderful home for your stay on St. John. I have been to St. John many times, but I usually stay with family friends who live there and haven't needed to rent a home until now because we were there for a wedding. With that said, this home exceeded all expectations. The grand-open living room and kitchen is perfect for family time, and then you can retreat into your large bedroom on either side for a good nights sleep. Though, you likely won't want to spend much time inside while at the house since you have an incredible view of Chocolate Hole that you can gaze at while eating at the large gathering table or at the edge of the pool. In addition to the beautiful house itself, you are provided with anything and everything you need. Multiple ways to make coffee with some grounds there already to start your day off right, and tons of beach towels and chairs to comfortably hit the beach. I don't think this house deserves anything less than 5 stars. However, accessibility to town without a car is difficult. Taxis don't go up there, so you can't have too much fun at night and get back easily. Finally, I'll note that many people attending the wedding who also rented villas had told me about numerous issues they had with their stays, including broken furniture, no hot water, and other homeowner issues that you don't want to deal with while you're on vacation. That is not what you'll get at Samba Azul. It is clean, well kept, and offers a great break from reality. "
