The Riverside restaurant on the bank of the Sal River overlooked a working fishing port with the boats coming and going all evening, a great backdrop. Good selection of drinks at the bar except for the beer being in only small bottles and expensive. Overall an excellent stay during our tour of the west coast of India."

"If you are looking for a resort vibe, on a small scale, that is family friendly, this is a great option. We were looking for a little bit of peace and quiet to recharge our batteries and it is exactly what we found staying at the Novotel. Great service, nice infrastructures, lots of food options on site and a pool to enjoy the sun without the crowds of Candolim Beach. The hotel is well located, the beach is a 9-minute walk. The staff was very helpful and keen to give us tips and tricks. Beware...
