"The stay was good but with some remarks: - some fourniture is outdated (chairs in kitchen and sofa ouside are worn out) - very bad smell in the washing room - you need a car for visiting the city (more than 30 minutes of walk) all issues and problems were solved quickly by the support and service team - very good communication"

"Great place for a family reunion. Close to the beach, in the middle of the Algarve, pool, lots of room, well equipped kitchen, beautiful space for a large group. Pool guy was great, cleaning staff excellent. Needs a few things fixed: gate to parking area didn't work, fridges missing shelves and freezing open, toilet water leaking into pool, pool skimmer didn't work, air conditioner in one room didn't work. All reported on the first day but not fixed in a month stay."

"We had a fantastic time. The house is roomy, comfortable, and extremely well laid out. The fireplace gave us a beautiful chance to warm up in the evenings and review our days, while listening to a pair of Tawny Owls. Casa Milonga is very close to Praia da Marinha -- a stunning beach and breathtaking coastline. The long hike along the coast is stunning. And it was easy to drive to more distant places, both east and west. This is the perfect place for a relaxed vacation."

"The house was easy to get into, very large and walking distance to everything we needed. The living room was very dark but that was our only complaint."

"The house was great! It was beautiful, spacious and had everything needed for a stay for multiple people. We paid to have the pool heated, which was definitely worth it. It was very well used by kids and adults alike. The rooms were very nice - all with ensuite bathrooms. The house is in a good location. About 15 minutes walk to the beautiful Sao Rafael beach. The quickest way into town is via Uber - taking 5-10 minutes. We would gladly recommend staying here. "

"It was a nice house however the mattresses need an upgrade. There were some issues with some comforters with stains on it. Nice welcome package however garbage bags, dishwashing pucks and basic spices, like salt and pepper would have been nice. "

"We are three generations aged 15-72. The villa is spacious and clean. It isn’t ’brand new’ but is modern and well appointed. We had a fabulous time and loved strolling down to the beach and restaurants."

"Enjoyed our stay at the villa. Martin was very responsive when booking the property and Kerstin the property manager helped with any questions we had. Got the pool heated which is a must for this time of year. The villa is in a quiet area and quite close to the centre of Carvoeiro."

"Location was excellant. Surroundings were beautiful. Home was just as it was stated on listing. Please note lots of stairs, would be difficult for elderly person. Loved the multi-level outdoor patios. Great for relaxing breakfast or night cap. Furniture was simple. Glad there was plenty of space to relax outside as well."

"Great location close to everything. I only stayed one night but enjoyed the stay. The apartment was quiet, spacious and comfortable, the kitchen was a bit basic with no other amenities than a kettle and some cups. The restaurant was great with lovely food and very nice staff. Overall, great value for money. "

"If you’re thinking of booking do not hesitate! We enjoyed every minute and had no issues from start to finish. The food, staff, beautiful interior, gardens, it was just perfect and the ultimate experience to relax and switch off. I loved the little personal touches like toothbrushes, toothpaste, the vanity pack, a razor, gorgeous scented body lotion, wine, chocolates. I could just keep going. Thank you to all the wonderful staff at the Domes Lake, we will be back! "

Great hotel

"Wonderful hotel - top quality service from warm and friendly staff. Lots of facilities and great restaurants. Family friendly but not family orientated, so meant with our 20 month old we were still able to look after her every need, but still feel like we were having a grown up break. "

The amenities, including common areas, were clean and well-maintained, adding to the relaxing experience. "We had a fantastic stay here in this beautiful hotel. The staff were extremely kind and helpful, without exception, going above and beyond to make our stay special. Breakfasts were delicious with many pastries, fruits, eggs etc (although perhaps some vegetarian meats would be a nice addition). We also both had amazing massages at the spa. The area is nice with a lovely beach in walking distance and some nice restaurants and bars. It is only around a 10 minute taxi journey from Albufeira old town and there is also a bus stop right outside the hotel. "
