"Great location close to everything. I only stayed one night but enjoyed the stay. The apartment was quiet, spacious and comfortable, the kitchen was a bit basic with no other amenities than a kettle and some cups. The restaurant was great with lovely food and very nice staff. Overall, great value for money. "

"We selected the all inclusive buffet and it was amazing day after day. Sao was always welcoming and so was all the staff. The location is close enough to walk to the beach and restaurants. The backyard pool was pleasant to hang out around and read or have a drink. The rooms are a bit dated but clean and comfortable. Excellent stay of 2 weeks. "

"I liked using this hotel as my base for many activities. I could walk to the beginning of the Seven Hanging Valleys Trail in about ten minutes by heading east. The views are spectacular. I could walk ten minutes west to get to an excellent place for breakfast or lunch "Earth Shop and Cafe." We had a car so we could also do outings, for example, Praia Nova (for the beach and the lovely chapel on the cliffs), and Silves for the castle and the storks by the river as you enter the town. "

"I liked that it was quietand the viw was really good. It was clean, I think ir needs a little TLC. Mind that there ia no elevator in the appartments. We ate at the cafereria and food was okay, a little pricey for the quality. "

"Before we even got through the front gate the bell was out of order and you had to phone to gain access. It took 3 calls before we got through The room was very noisy in the evening and the balcony chairs plastic When we had tea on the main bars patio/balcony the receptionist closed the door and we were left locked out There wasn’t even an egg cup in our superior room Enough said "

"Great place for a girls weekend to catch up with friends. Spacious accommodation with a fab balcony Just a few things to note. Accommodation units are all individual so you don’t know quite what you will get. Units can be difficult to find as it’s a very large complex. Signage and lighting trying to navigate in the dark is difficult especially as check in not until after 5pm. "If you’re thinking of booking do not hesitate! We enjoyed every minute and had no issues from start to finish. The food, staff, beautiful interior, gardens, it was just perfect and the ultimate experience to relax and switch off. I loved the little personal touches like toothbrushes, toothpaste, the vanity pack, a razor, gorgeous scented body lotion, wine, chocolates. I could just keep going. Thank you to all the wonderful staff at the Domes Lake, we will be back! "

Great hotel

"Wonderful hotel - top quality service from warm and friendly staff. Lots of facilities and great restaurants. Family friendly but not family orientated, so meant with our 20 month old we were still able to look after her every need, but still feel like we were having a grown up break. "

"We had a fantastic stay here in this beautiful hotel. The staff were extremely kind and helpful, without exception, going above and beyond to make our stay special. Breakfasts were delicious with many pastries, fruits, eggs etc (although perhaps some vegetarian meats would be a nice addition). We also both had amazing massages at the spa. The area is nice with a lovely beach in walking distance and some nice restaurants and bars. It is only around a 10 minute taxi journey from Albufeira old town and there is also a bus stop right outside the hotel. "
