"We loved our stay at hotel dei Capitani, would highly recommend. Montalcino is famous for truffles, wild boar, wine, and beautiful views, especially from this hotel. It is on top of a mountain and in the country so you can expect to see bugs in your room like spiders, mosquitos, stink bugs, but they are mostly all harmless and more of a nuisance than anything. "The hotel seems like a little piece of paradise for it's beauty. I could really die happy there. Our room was perhaps larger than my house (the bathroom defitely was). Besides that, I have to congratulate the staff. What an amazing and professional people. It particularly amazed me that the girl in the reception, during our check-out, didn't even asked me my name or my room number. She just knew it. I felt really special for that.
