"Interstate to be turned away at the door. After some pretty serious 4x4’ing to find the place, we showed our reservation# and booking details, but were told facility was closed for the season. I’ve joyfully used Hotels.com for many years and, and will continue to do so, but this is my first sub-optimal experience. "Don’t book this place without a vehicle and not in winter. After booking, the phone number didn’t work and no response to emails. No free airport pickup. I showed up unexpected despite paying in advance. Got a room different than booking and only half ready. I was the ONLY guest. Few services, no transport. It was a difficult stay. Despite all this I imagine it’s a busy and thriving place in the summer. "
