"This was my first time in Jamaica and Bahia Principe did not disappoint. It was a beautiful property. There were some renovations going on while we were there, (the hotel is 17 years old and it looked like they were updating some things) however we noticed that they were very respectful of quiet hours and we experienced no issues. The staff was very accommodating and kind. While we enjoyed our time immensely I do have some suggestions. There were lots of entertainment and it was great. I do wish that there were more cultural choices with the entertainment unique to Jamaica. Such as the music. It was very westernized. I also wish there were more Jamaican culinary experiences. Other than the tropical fruit and seafood offerings the rest was all typical western cuisine and it wasn’t that great unfortunately. My best friend is Jamaican and I have a cousin through marriage who is Jamaican and I am keenly aware of how good the food is or can be. So I definitely wish they offered more of their own cuisine. One offering they did have was the oxtail and butter beans. That was fantastic. Overall- it was a great experience. "

"My Husband and I just left Sea Shell Palms and couldn’t wait until we got home to post what a magnificent experience we had at Sea Shell Palms so we are doing it while waiting for our flight!! I don’t know how anyone can write a negative review because what we experienced was ALL positive! Ms. Meeks, Mr. Damien, Mr. Green, Mr. Richard and the whole staff went above and beyond in service and demeanor!! Great conversations, advice on places to go and accommodating all the way around! The whole place was clean and in order and our room was spacious!! The Jamaican breakfast was very tasty and had an array of options to choose from. They also have grocery stores, a restaurant and an ice cream parlor with the best homemade ice cream and cheesecake we have ever had called Twist! The proximity to everything is approximately 10 minutes! They even have security and police on premises for safety! If you want a great place to stay, this is the place to be! Thanks again, Sea Shell Palms for EVERYTHING! "

"Takes too long to check in..every thing else was perfect "

"Inclusive property. Only complaint: Room was not ready when we arrived, had to wait 2 hours. After that it was great! Everyone was friendly, helpful and welcoming. You have to sign up for the restaurants on their website on day one of your trip as they book up fast. During our trip they had limited staff available, but the buffet’s were terrific as well. It would be nice if they could have extended the pool hours to the evening as well. Great place, highly recommended!"

"Pleasant relaxing stay at a vintage property during a slow peiod. Staff was attentive warm and caring but could be hard to find due to the slow period. The regular chef knows his craft, if he is not around go elsewhere. Looking a beach, sorry but watersports they are ready for."
