"Very comfortable hotel right off the water, close to the City square. Staff was wonderful, the room clean & comfortable and the breakfast was one of the best we have had on our tour of Italy. "The hotel is brand new within a renovated villa. We stayed in junior suite room, which was very spacious with a sea view and a balcony. The room was very clean, modern, with A/C. "We stayed at Mondello Martini as part of a family vacation to Sicily. Hostess Amanda was very helpful and spoke English well. The room was very large by European standards, with a king size bed in one room and a twin bed bunk in a semi-private alcove. Bathroom facilities were super clean and modern. "Really nice accommodation near the beach of Mondello. Within a 15 minute walk you have reached the beach. The location itself is lovely. The room itself is not that big, but spacious enough for two persons. The garden of the accomodation is perfect and makes up for the little space inside. You can sit at multiple places. "You feel like Royalty staying in this stunning hotel! Grand Hotel Wager was a dream stay. The staff are wonderful, the lobby and bar are stunning and my room was fabulous! Truly the best bed and pillows of all my stays in Italy. There is a very large selection of breakfast items on the Buffett including a very good selection of gluten free items. The bar is lovely. I sat and enjoyed a pot of tea and read for a long while and the bar tender assured me to stay and enjoy myself. The lobby is huge so decorated so incredibly beautiful as is all the hotel. This is charm you can only find in European countries and it is stunning. It is within easy walking distance of the Opera house abc so many other sites. The hop on hop off bus line main meeting spot is at the end of the street. There is tons of shopping and lovely restaurants near by. It’s about a 25 minute walk from the train station but I enjoyed the flat walk and all the sites along the way. I highly recommend a stay with them at Grand Hotel Wagner if you are in Palermo!"

"I would like to recommend it as the #1 best hotel in Sicily. It is unfortunate that the swimming pool is not open, but it has all the advantages of a hotel. All the staff were friendly and the food was so delicious. Although the hotel is old, it was very clean."

"The staff was wonderful. I had food poisoning the day before check out and they let me extend my stay due to the fact that I was very slow moving. The man at the front desk was very friendly and passionate about getting the most out of Palermo. Made lots of good recommendations."
