"Hotel staff reached out a few days before my check-in for my anticipated arrival time. The check-in was busy (two other groups arriving within 5 minutes), but they had adequate staff to provide us all prompt service which had been an issue with some prior hotel/car bookings. "Did not realize that the shared bathroom was for all rooms in the hotel not just two adjoining rooms. Quite a hike up the the floor the hotel is located on. Otherwise we found the facilites very clean and the staff ere very helpful and courteous. Location was excellent and our overall experience very positive."

"The property was nicely decorated and within walking distance of the major attractions in Siena. Not sure if it is an Italian thing, but, the ones we have stayed at don’t provide soap for showering. Only downside, and that is not too important. "

"This place is in remote town, so it’s quiet and peaceful. Carolina is wonderful explaining all the amenities and places in the quaint village. The parking lot is safe and convenient. The room was spacious, but wished the bathroom had a window. Loved the reading room with Refrigerator that was very useful! The breakfast was lovely! My husband and I stayed there very comfortably and felt like my own home!"

"My wife and 3 young (8 and under) children stayed here and we loved it. It was the perfect B&B experience and very child friendly. Mrs Francesca was a sweetheart and prepared amazing cakes and treats for every breakfast. The beautiful property was like an Italian fairy tale and close to many must see sites. "

"We were in awe! So beautiful, comfortable and peaceful. Best sleep ever on vacation. Stefano is an amazing host, very responsive and helpful. "Great location, walkable from the train station. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. First night we got a room by the elevator, and it was very loud. Asked the desk to be moved and they happily moved my wife and I to a very quiet room. I would recommend this hotel. Great location, very clean, and excellent staff. "

"Hotel was great for a quick stop through our EU trip. We had three rooms and the staff was great! We enjoyed food and drinks for the bar and everything was delicious! They even have a 24hr sauna which is nice after traveling all day! Beautiful area, wish we had more time here! The breakfast was the best hotel breakfast we had the whole trip and included in stay! "

"We have travelled extensively through Europe for the past 2 years and the Villa del Sole has to be one of the best and amazing hotel we have ever stayed in. Staff was sooooooo friendly and helpful. Even showed us the easiest and best way to get to the Piazza del Campo without going up and down the hills, lol. Breakfast was great, good selection. The best, mind blowing view of Siena you will find. We want to thank everyone for the friendly and generous service that was offered. We are definitely coming back! "
