"The property is cheap, very conveniently located and the wifi is great. Other than that, it's not great. The sinks, toilets, and bathroom doors were falling apart. It's fine if you're spending a night or two in Granada and have limited funds, but otherwise you should look elsewhere."

"The photo’s are deceiving! The rooms are tiny with no storage or bathroom shelf space. The shower was hot and has good water pressure but, once again tiny! The beds are comfortable and the rooms have AC and heat. The rooms facing the street are noisy at night especially after hours. The proximity to the Alhambra is great BUT it is a long steep climb to the entrance, be warned! If you come in a vehicle and use the parking, a small vehicle is better as the access and spots are extremely tight!"

"I'll start with the positives, location is brilliant in that it's right next to the cathedral and close to walk to albayzin and other sights. The main corridor and lobby were also pleasant and nicely decorated with arab andalucian plasterwork. Room was ok size and beds were comfy. On the other hand, service was not ideal in that i called the hotel a few weeks before coming to request a twin room with 2 beds instead of a double to which the guy on the phone said ok. "Everything was perfect about this hotel. Great location to almost everything in Granada - the Albacín, the cathedral, and the Alhambra. We both walked and took a cabs - most of the latter were only 5-7 euros. Good dining options nearby too. The room was very spacious and clean, about the only complaint (minor) was the pillows were weirdly too long and big, but otherwise everything was great. The staff was also extremely nice and very helpful. Wouldn’t hesitate again to stay. "

Áurea Catedral by Eurostars Hotel Company

"Aurea Catedral is a beautiful property that is centrally located & within walking distance to all the major sites of Granada. Parking was fun with the use of their car elevator which took you to their underground parking. Our room was large , comfortable, had an amazing view of the cathedral & we enjoyed the complimentary bottle of sparkling wine in our room. We would highly recommend this hotel. "
