"Great location and clean comfortable rooms, shower floor gets very slippy, so could do with a grab rail, but ok when you get used to it. Only have given 4 out of 5 as really miss not having a kettle in the Motel One room, not the very cheapest hotel so should be an option at least. Good location for the hotel in the city centre with everything within walking distance and very close to the riverside bars etc. 4 out of 5 due to no kettle or room safe but would probably stay again due to location. "

"I absolutely loved my stay here! The view was breathtaking, especially in the early morning when everything is so quiet and peaceful – it’s incredibly relaxing for the mind. If you’re booking, definitely try to get a room on the riverside. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a serene escape!"

"Excellent as always! The food was exceptional and extremely generous portions but also nice and healthy! The most dog friendly place I have ever stayed. It is actually more convenient than being at home with an absolutely beautiful mapped out walk by the lake on the doorstep. Staff are all really helpful and welcoming."

"Our host home was beautiful, clean and in a garden-type setting which we all enjoyed! There were seven adults and the rooms were very comfortable. Having two bathrooms was a big plus! Our host gave us two fabulous suggestions. First, sunset on the North Sea Beach which was amazing and second, the restaurant Bistro Varele Schleuse, wonderful food!! We highly recommend staying at this residence, the host was lovely, we very much enjoyed her company!"

"Beautiful hotel. Great views from the decks, great saunas that are free of charge including the robes. Rooftop bar was nice and made a good cocktail. "

"The location of the hotel close to a lake and not far from the South beach is good, 1-1.5 km walk to the museum and not too far into town. Spacious room with good facilities. Could advertise better where to reccycle items such as cans and plastic."

"Friendly staff and good check in experience. There was an issue with the lock on the door, which they fixed. There were some noises during the late evening from the McDonald's, but went away during the night"

"My room in this hotel was very clean, had a strong shower with good water pressure and hot water, there is a machine for buying coffee anytime downstairs, and there is a breakfast available for an extra price. I had to go catch a train Sunday morning and the breakfast didn’t begin until 7:30 because it was Sunday, so I missed it and was not able to eat since I had to be out catching a train at 8am. I think breakfast should always be available early for travelers. "

"The room and the view were gorgeous, and overall it is still a fairly new place. The public areas a pretty basic and the breakfast buffet was a bit of letdown considering the price, very basic. "

"Checking in at this hotel (automated check-in on a machine after 11pm) was an absolute nightmare. It is essential a hostel with very limited service. My room was clean enough, but the hallways had a weird smell. I would definitely not stay here again, nor would I stay at another one of these properties."

"Wir hatten ein sehr erholsames Wochenende in diesem Haus. Wer die Natur und Ruhe liebt, ist hier genau richtig. Das Haus ist sauber, gepflegt und hat alles, was man braucht. Es gibt reichlich Ausflugsmöglichkeiten, die in nur wenigen Kilometern zu erreichen sind( Sehr empfehlenswert ist die Stadt Jever oder Carolinensiel wo man wunderbar an der Harle entlang nach Harlesiel spazieren kann um dort einige Köstlichkeiten der Küstenräucherrei zu probieren) . "Stayed 3 nights over the weekend by jade event. Excellent apartment with everything we needed, good parking and easy to walk into town or along the Bontekai. Be even better when the Deichebrucke is finished. Excellent value and would stay again."
