"Im Großen und Ganzen sehr schöne 2 Wochen. Wir hatten die Hoffnung, dass man die knapp 2km auch mal zu Fuß an den Strand laufen kann. Allerdings schaffen das nur Hartgesottene, da es keinen Gehweg gibt. Mit Kindern oder Surfboard leider nicht möglich. Wenn man genauer hinschaut, merkt man, dass das Haus schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen ist. Grundsätzlich ist es aber sehr gut ausgestattet und der kleine Pool macht v.a. den Kids viel Spaß, gerade bei 30 Grad+"

There is an elevator that helped the older people and of course the children loved the ping pong table and pool. "The property is great. Plenty of amenities and a large yard great for kids or friends looking to play lawn sports or run around. The pool is nice and a great way to spend the day. All of the bathrooms are clean and plenty of towels are available. The location is a little outside of the city along a dirt road. It’s about 20- 25 minutes into Lisbon with no traffic, 35-40 minutes with traffic. There are plenty of Ubers available though (wait 5-10 minutes). Candidly it’s an excellent spot if...

"Great communication with host, very clean home. Beautiful pool area. You’ll need a car or driver to get anywhere but it’s well worth staying just outside the city for quiet and relaxation."

"Nice quiet stay away from the hustle of downtown Comporta (~12 min drive). I enjoyed walking to nearby local coffee shop for my espresso and the Leonardo supermarket for some daily supplies. I’m a little on the taller side; so, had to watch my head when walking through the doors (not an issue if one is under 5’10”). Otherwise, having a/c here is a big plus and necessary given the strong summer alentejo sun."

"The manager, Vera, is superb. She was able to set up boat rides, Fado evening, restaurants, and a fabulous wine tasting, and was always helpful and wonderful. The pool is super, the house could use window screens and fans in every room, and the owner should make sure all closets are empty. The wine from the estate is fantastic."
