A very nice traditionally elegant hotel. The rooms were well appointed and quiet for such a central location. The beds were fantastic. Excellent breakfast and located in the best place for exploring the tourist areas of Lisbon

There are many 5 stars hotels, but the difference is in staff. This hotel has so helpful and nice staff that is just a pleasure talking to them. Hotel is older (there are some visible cracks) but very well maintained, clean and safe. Breakfast is amazing! Every time I travel to Lisbon I'm staying at that hotel. If you can afford the price, you should choose this one - you will not be sorry.

This hotel was a real treat for our first visit to Lisbon. The staff was wonderful, the service was outstanding, and the location was perfect. The breakfast was top-notch for any breakfast you would get at a nice hotel, but it was especially good for a buffet. The staff in the cocktail lounge downstairs was attentive, friendly, and they made great drinks. We would definitely stay at the Hotel Avenida Palace again.

I can't say enough good things about this hotel. It is majestic. The staff is impeccable. They catered to our every need. Every day we came back to the room to find presents. It is in the middle of the square - dining and shopping are all in walking distance. Ask the concierge to help find a driver if you don't have anything set up and they will take you all over the countryside. It is affordable and they will give you a wonderful driver. I felt safe and welcomed here. I traveled with my special needs son and they were so welcoming. We will be back!

From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive to our every need. The concierge was knowledgeable and helpful, and the housekeeping team kept my room spotless. While the hotel's decor may be a bit dated, we found it added to the property's character and charm. It was like stepping back in time, and we appreciated the unique experience. If you value history, excellent service, and a one-of-a-kind experience, I highly recommend here.
