"This hotel is perched above the town and has a beautiful garden filled with fruit trees, and views of the duomo, town and valley. It's a lovely, quiet place and it even has parking about 5 minutes up the hill, which is impossible to find in Ragusa Ibla. The staff are very gracious, and the breakfast was delicious. The room was so quiet, and the bed was very comfortable with a mattress topper. We highly recommend it. "

"Check in was smooth as Pippo and Lucia were there when we arrived. Property is beautiful, very clean, a lovey terrace with beautiful views across Modica. However, Modica is a city of steps and Casa Alecci is in Modica Alta which is atcthe veryvtop so make sure you have transport sorted before you arrive. In addition, the property has no internet access so make sure you have a data package. We loved our stay at Modica in Casa Alecci but it may not suit everyone. "

"We loved this little family run B&B! The owners Rita and Leonardo were kind and helpful. Very nice quiet room with 2 rooms and balcony. Location was perfect as we could walk to everything. Breakfast was very nice with several home made items and great coffee! They had us park at a local lot a mile away down the hill and picked us up there bringing us to the hotel and then back after. Make sure to write them and call ahead to arrange this. Overall a great experience for us!! "

"The house is better than the photos portray. It is quiet, feels almost rural, and is within an easy walk to the town square. The garden looks out over the sea across a mini vineyard and beautiful tropical plants. We spent so much time in the southern 'conservatory' where we could enjoy the view and stay cool - even though it was early September when we were there.
